Here you can view our policies on privacy, electronic signatures, contracts, as well as other legal disclosures. It is our policy to protect your personal information at all times. We go above and beyond the standard legal requirements to ensure our cleints are protected.

Client Information and Privacy Policies
The Gramm-Leach Bailey Act of 1999 requires all Tax Professionals to state their privacy policy on an annual basis. Our privacy policy is noted below. Our policy was last updated January 01, 2022.

It is the policy of Integrity Accounting as well as the personal policy of Ms. Crystal Scanlan, to handle the information you provide to us with the utmost confidentiality and care. We restrict access to nonpublic information about you to members of our firm who need to know this information in order to complete the work you hired us to do. We never leave your personal documents unattended. We only keep what we are required to, and your information remains stored safely under lock and key.

We will not disclose your personal information to anyone outside our firm without your express written permission to do so. For example, if a mortgage lender contacts our office for a copy of your return or information about it, we will ask that you provide written permission prior to responding to that request. We appreciate the confidence you have placed in our firm and we pledge to safeguard the confidentiality of your records and information provided by you.

Regarding payment processing, we do not store the personal information that we collect from you to process your payment on our business servers. We use a number of platforms to process credit and debit card payments for our clients including WePay, PayPal, Intuit Go Payment, and ACH Bank Transfer. We have always been and will continue to be a PCI compliant business.

Secured Communications and Client Portals

We provide our clients with a personal secure financial portal to share documents, transfer files, and store their historical financial statements, tax filings, and other privileged documents. Our portals provide our clients with 100% confidence, knowing that their information is protected by the same SSL Technology that banks use. Our portals provide a user friendly interface allowing our clients to effortlessly transfer and store all types of files.

The type of information that is shared between clients and accountants is generally sensitive. For that reason, we take security a step further with secure client communications. These email based communications are housed in an environment that is protected by the same SSL Technology that banks use. This platform allows you to provide us with privileged information via email with complete confidence, knowing that your information is protected.

With Integrity Accounting, you no longer have to worry about the safety of your personal information. We take extreme measures to ensure you are protected.

Canceling an Ongoing Engagement

We are sad to see any of our valued customers leave us, but we understand that not everything goes according to plan especially when operating a business. If at any time you need to cancel your ongoing services, just contact our office. You will no longer be billed from that date forward; we do not guarantee the refund for any services that have already been paid. Any refund issued will be at our sole discretion and will depend on the individual circumstances.

Electronic Documents

Please note that Integrity Accounting ("we", "us" or "Company"), will send all documents electronically to you to the email address that you have given us during the course of our business relationship unless you tell us otherwise in accordance with the procedure explained herein. Once you sign a document electronically, we will send a PDF copy of the document to you. If you need to change the email address that you use to receive notices and disclosures from us, email us at cscanlan@integrityaccountinggroup.com.

Request for Paper Copies

You have the right to request from us paper copies of the documents that are sent to you electronically. You have the ability to download and print documents that are sent to you electronically. If you wish to receive paper copies of the documents that we have sent to you electronically, you can send an email to cscanlan@integrityaccountinggroup.com. For mailing standard copies through the mail, we charge $5.00. Please contact our office, for pricing of larger packages.
